Royal Norfolk Show

Outlaw Half Holkham Weekend

Set against the gorgeous backdrop of Holkham Hall, the Outlaw Half Holkham Weekend hosts a weekend of sport, as well as the opportunity to take part in some onsite camping.

Mid Norfolk Beer Festival

Live music, steam trains, and plenty of bars to pick and choose your perfect Real Ales and Ciders from. However you fancy tasting your tipple, do it in style at the Mid Norfolk Beer Festival.
Blakeney Greasy Pole
Where: Blakeney Quay, Holt NR25 7NF
When: 8 August
Blakeney’s annual greasy pole challenge is back for another year in the running! Dating back well over a hundred years, the day is filled with challenges and games, alongside the infamous greasy pole – a run/walk along a heavily greased 30ft long pole, suspended over sea water!
